This is a 1-8 cup (6 – 48 oz.) automatic coffee maker with a cone-shaped filter basket, a clock and an “Automatic Brew” delay timer. It comes with a thermal carafe and two 16 oz. travel mugs. The coffee maker can brew directly into the carafe, a single mug, or two mugs at once, without compromising flavor, and its brew-pause function allows for pouring a cup before the brew cycle has completed.

The markings on the inside of the water reservoir are reasonably easy to read, and show both “cups” and “max water level” for a single mug or for two mugs. It comes with a charcoal water filter which can be inserted into the water reservoir, but it will work without if you use distilled or pre-filtered water. Providing added convenience, the coffeemaker automatically shuts off at the end of the brewing cycle, and its 60-second reset “remembers” where it was in the brewing process and settings.
