Will Starbucks ever have K cups for the Keurig coffee maker, Keurig does have a reusable filter for your own coffee, but I heard conflicting reviews on them. Are they that bad? I get the free bag of Starbucks coffee per week as I am a Starbucks partner. I really want this machine, but if I can’t use my free coffee satisfacterly, I dont know if I can.

I think if you use gourmet coffee in the refillable cups it makes an excellent cup. I think it all depends on the quality of coffee you refill with. I never could understand the K cup crazy because the coffee itself isn’t fresh.

green ghost, what is yuba mean? I tried making from scratch once and it was a mess and tasted bad, but didn’t add sugar or vanilla…plus I hear it is better to use fresher soy beans and /or laura soy beans
I used to have a copy of the Farm cookbook, have to look..oh still have…have not read in about 20 years?1978 edition…must be a collector item now…LOL.
Epson salt for tofu…never heard of that before..is that in the Farm cookbook? Saw Nigiri and calcium sulfate on soyajoy website….
GG: I don’t worry about pts..I have almost max pts..I don’t eat fish…was a veg for about 20 yrs until cancer and chemo…got off track..trying to get back on track with veg.. have been trading some meat recipes due to obsessive with collecting recipes and yahoo answers…need to try to stop that I guess…

Question by glbrown78: How do you turn off the annoying beeper on a Krups coffee pot?
We have a Krups FME2 coffee maker, basic 12 cup machine. I have found many reviews on line that talk about the annoying beeper, which signals the coffee is ready, the pot is turning off and other inconsequential stuff. I’ve also read that you can turn off the beeper, but haven’t found an article that tells you how to do that.

You can’t turn it off. It only beeps five times.

Question by Cochy: Looking for a good grinding coffee maker?
I’m looking for a coffee maker that grinds and brews. Cuisinart has some, but their reviews are kind of poor. Does anyone have a good one that has lasted and that works well? My fiance has a Cuisinart one, but it’s already starting to mess up after 3 years. Durability is pretty bad for a machine that cost over $ 1000. Any ideas?

i have the cuisinart and it works great! ive had it for about a year and no problems..Only drawbacks are its very noisy when it grinds and it is a pain to clean but it makes a great cup of coffee. I think my wife paid around $ 80 for it.
