The Double Apple Restaurant and Hookah Cafe

Brambleton Avenue welcomes a new restaurant at the site of the old Bear Trap Inn. The Double Apple Restaurant and Hookah Cafe will be opening in late August 2011. According to owner Mahmoud “Joe” Migdadi, the Double Apple offers something new, fresh and different to the greater Roanoke community. Along with his extensive experience with American cuisine, Joe has 12 years of experience running a family restaurant overseas and a degree in business. Consequently, one of the most exciting things about the new Double Apple Restaurant is that Joe knows the true meaning of the terms “authentic Mediterranean food” and “hospitality” and the menu reflects that. The Double Apple will be serving a fusion of truly authentic Mediterranean cuisine and classic American fare at very reasonable prices. The menu includes a wide variety of choices including 9 types of shawarma, classic American burgers, Greek salads, tabbouleh and fattoush as well as Joe’s original Mediterranean style and frozen smoothies, ice cream, Baklava and even some delicious vegetarian and vegan options. The menu includes something for every taste from the exotic to the classic and something for every budget. The prices are very reasonable ranging from as little as .00 for appetizers and deserts to as much as .00 for full entrees. With a comprehensive menu and reasonable prices like that, The Double Apple is a great choice for lunch or dinner any day of the week. From the pickiest eater to the more adventurous

OK…these are some extreme examples, but we’ve all seen religion insist that “miracles” are proof of God’s intervention in the mundane, leaving the rest to…um…Satan.
