I know this is pretty stupid, but I left the coffee maker on this evening while leaving for my parents’ house. Well, this coffee maker doesn’t have an “auto-off” feature as far as I know. I am about 200 miles from my apartment. Should I be worried and should I go down and turn it off? I am planning to stay here for about 2 days. I will be back there on Monday. Can this wait?
Just called a friend. She is going to check on the apt. I keep the windows open and if anything is burning, she should be able to smell it. I don’t think this should be a problem because the I think the top of the coffee maker shuts down…only the “heating plate” continues to be warm and heats the glass…perhaps the glass will shatter…hopefully that will be it. but my friend said she is going to check on my apt periodically to make sure there is nothing burning =D
